MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music is one of the biggest in his part of the Latin mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 was awarded the Colombian Kids Choice Award as Favorite Song for 2017. He released his debut long-player ADN for the Medellin-based Sony-distributed La Industria Inc. On the Top Latin Albums chart, it reached no. 8. In the following year, he was a part of Ozuna on their Top Five smash Vaina Loca. He released Dopamina, his chart-topping sophomore album the years following. In 2021 he produced a duet for TINI's hit single Maldita Foto. The year 2023 came around and the smash hit La Bachata was released. Turizo comes from a musical background, both his mother and elder brother are also musicians. He has said in interviews that music is a must. While a boy, he studied the guitar as well as the saxophone. While his initial career goal was to be veterinarian His brother Julian convinced him to try learning to sing with the Cuban. This transformed his life forever.
